Make no mistake, Pokemon is insanely addictive. We both got right into it in the mid-nineties and it took a while to kick the habit. Every once and a while a new game would come out and one of us would fall off the wagon, inevitably dragging the other down with them. B even dabbled with the card game for a while.
It’s true, I recently picked it up again. I had a GameCube game for which I lost the save when one of my memory cards corrupted, and I wanted to finish it. It’s okay, I’m done now, putting it away… I can do that. But B might not be able to fight the urge to follow suit. The battle rages on.
