    When I grow up, I want to draw as well as you do.

    It makes me think a bit though. The whole point of the Grinch story is that for the Whos, Christmas is not external, but internal and soemthing that can’t be stolen. They live Stevie Wonder’s sentiment: “Even though we sometimes would not get a thing, we were happy with the joy the day would bring”

    Their example melts the Grinch’s hearts who comes back to whoville (repentant apparently).

    The whos are just so damn forgiving, trusting and naive. I know they’ve got warm hearts but it’s still surprising. I didn’t notice as a kid. Maybe the surprise I feel as an adult is a symptom of grinchy cynicism settling in.

    But any way, I wouldn’t let this grinch carve any roast beast at my place.
