Sad Realization

A few weeks back, Rogers Internet went down for all of Southern Ontario. No home Internet, no 3G, notta. When you're used to giving a description of every moment of even slight significance in your life to anyone who will listen on the great big Internet, being cut off is a little jarring. I guess you could always get on horseback and Paul Revere that shit. "The Internet is down! The Internet is DOWN!! Also, check out my new comic at... ahhhh, damnit!" ~C Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, eh ;) Share/Bookmark

  1. I went through 2 weeks of that. No Internet, no mobile phone (for future reference, do not combine services unless you know that nothing will go wrong at any time. Either that, or have some money saved for emergencies).

Admittedly, that’s not the same as a whole city going down, but still… I feel your pain.

    1. Yeah…two weeks is way worse than the one night we had to deal with. I’m pretty sure that’s a pee in the bottle, Kleenex boxes on my feet kind of scenario.

  2. Kill yourself, it’s the cleaner option to no internet.

    1. I’d rather just become a rambling, mindless, drifter 🙂

  3. Last time this happened to me, I …… I went outside. I still shudder when I remember that day.

    1. I feel like you need a hug after coming out with that.

  4. I wonder what Paul Revere would have done if the internet were down?

    1. I have no idea. Wikipedia didn’t even help me come up with something witty:

  5. “Okay fine! So uh, first panel, Edward’s looking at his computer, and — Hey wait! Slow down you stupid horse!”

    1. When did the horse show up? 🙂

  6. Hits you where it hurts.

    1. Right in the webs.

  7. That’s when you pull out your cell phone

    1. No 3G either. It was indeed a dark day.
