TWT43 – Box Block

Today’s TWT commemorates the new Deadpool video game. As a long time fan of the Merc with a Mouth, the fact that this game happened at all is a bit of a surprise, and makes me giddy beyond telling. I haven’t had a chance to play it much yet, but from what I have played, all I can say is that it feels right.

I have several Deadpool action figures (I don’t even have all of them pictured in this comic), the rarest of which I just cannot bring myself to open. In general I’m of the mind that a toy needs to be opened, that it doesn’t really become a toy until you’ve removed it from it’s plastic/cardboard prison and bent into various flippin’ awesome poses. Having this exception enables me to sympathize with some of the collectors that don’t open any of their figures. If only for a moment.

That game does look fun. Do any of the Deadpool toys have a speech bubble to play with? That would be fun.

I wish. Though you can get Lego speech bubbles and then get the Lego Deadpool figure.

Who knew that Deadpool action figures could be so mean spirited?

He’s got a lot of personalities in there.
