Bedtime Story

He fell to his knees, and wept. Exhaustion had taken him, and he knew in his heart it was over. But in that moment of giving up, an image of her appeared so clearly in his mind, and somehow, he found the strength to get up. He was going to finish this thing. Six castles down, he thought.   2. I always imagined how the gamer generation would tell bedtime stories to their offspring when they had children of their own.

    1. It’s at least a little more jazzed up then saying “then he moved right, and jumped, and then he moved right some more, and jumped again”.

  3. I can’t tell you how many times I screamed “Aw son of a bitch” right at that moment. 😉
