The Manor – A character in its own right, the Manor is home to Keith, Edward and Alice, all cartoon characters who started living together when they found themselves out of a job in the mid-nineties.
Edward |
Edward always had trouble finding work, because by the time his generation came along, no one was watching cartoon ducks anymore. So instead he fills his days working IT with Keith, and his evenings playing endless amounts of video games, on his own, and with the other cartoon characters he lives with. Sarcastic and sardonic to the last, Edward never misses a chance to use his wry wit against unsuspecting prey. |
Keith |
Keith could probably find work in cartoons again (monkeys are timeless), but doesn’t seem to have any interest. Instead he works in IT with Edward, collects toys, and plays countless games. Perpetually 8 years old, he greets new games and toys with a childish and wide-eyed excitement. His NERF collection is often used to settle disputes within The Manor, making it a constant foam warzone. |
Alice |
The only cartoon character who has managed to get back in to cartoons, Alice found that a lot of doors opened up for her with the popularity of cats on the Internet. As “the adult”, she effectively takes care of the others. Kind and good spirited, she enjoys and participates in the excessive gaming and nerd culture emanating throughout The Manor. Known to both get involved and annoyed by their antics, she continues to live with Keith and Edward in reasonable harmony. |
Frank |
Frank may seem a silent, harmless teddy-bear, but when his job in cartoons went south, he got into an entirely different sort of work… and the cute plushy routine became the perfect cover. Though the details of his coming and goings are scarcely known, he can often be seen skulking about, hacking computer systems, and solving his problems with the business end of a gun. |
Doug |
Doug? Doug is kinda… lazy. He’s easy going and goes with the flow, but if you’re meeting him somewhere you’d best tell him it’s an hour earlier so that he shows up on time. Oh, and don’t bother asking him what he’s in the mood for when you’re grabbing something to eat. He doesn’t care. |
Phil |
Phil seems to know something about everything. His friends would get more annoyed if he wasn’t so damn nice about it. To a fault, Phil tries to see the good in everyone and everything. But his naivety makes him an easy target for practical jokes. |
Gary |
Gary is the quintessence of creepy. Handy to have around when something dirty needs to be done, he thrives in awkward situations… usually by making them even more awkward. Also good to have around because he will do just about anything for a dollar, as long as it’s suitably weird. |
Freddy |
Freddy (Fred, Frederick) is often the source of reason and sound judgement amongst his friends, but lacks the confidence to convince them of that. Nervous by nature, you can gauge how worried he is about something by his current STS rating (stuttering, twitching, and shaking). |
