Konsole Kids
The Xbox One will be using Sony’s Bluray drive. That must KILL Microsoft, for Sony to get a cut of their next gen console like that. Such a pure admission of defeat. I’ll bet they can’t WAIT until everything is download-only.
We love the idea of each of the big three as kids on a playground. Microsoft, the athletic kid. Sony, the nerd. And Nintendo, the weird kid who plays on his own and eats paste.

You know when I heard Xbox One was geting a blu-ray drive I thought it would make a difference in my buying decission. But then I heard that you would still need to purchase an xbox live account to access things like Netflix, so I went back to asking: Why should pay MORE for extra 3rd party serivices that require their own monthly fee anyways?
Sony does it right and allows you to have access to the services for free. That and it’s still the best blu-ray player on the market.
It’s hard to argue with you there.
